John Morris

John Morris has published award-winning fiction and poetry in more than 90 literary magazines in the U.S. and Great Britain. A longtime instructor at The Writer’s Center, his collection of poetry, Someone Is Breathing, is available from Dos Madres Press. A short story collection, When I Snap My Fingers You Will Remember Everything, was published by No Record Press in 2016. His musical project, Mulberry Coach, a collaboration with singer and lyricist Katie Fisher, issued its ninth full-length release, The Friendly Skies, in April 2023. He currently serves as co-editor of Vita Poetica Journal, and is a member of Seekers Church in Washington, DC.
